Although some of the other followers in the game also level with the player, these two Dark Brotherhood Initiates have a higher level cap when compared to most of the other companions in Skyrim For everyone else, Serana is an excellent option as a Skyrim follower. Destruction and Restoratio The Dark Brotherhood Initiate is the best sneak follower found in Skyrim for a simple reason they level with the Dragonborn. He has no level cap, which means he continues to level up with the Dragonborn indefinitely. Stat wise, J'zargo is arguably one of the best followers in the game. Be warned, though: some might find J'zargo's arrogance somewhat off-putting-even if it is warranted. J'zargo is one of two available Khajiit followers, so he's a good choice if you need a little variety.
